Animals

Numerous live animals are used in the production each year, including several horses and donkeys. A permanent animal shelter was erected backstage during the 2008 season, allowing the animals to be safely housed for several weeks at a time and minimizing the need to transport them to and from the site for each rehearsal and performance.
